We grow the ingredients that you find in our Skincare products

We have always been passionate about the ingredients that you find in our skincare products. Since our creating we have searched for the most natural and purest ingredients that do not compromise our ethics and environmental credentials.

Since 2004 we were involved with our Local Community Lavender project, turning the Lavender grown and harvested locally into a popular and beautiful range of Lavender products. This experience created the inspiration to go further, to create range of skincare products where we grow the ingredients, where we know the purity, love and efficacy of our ingredients.

Since 2015, we have planted 50 acres of Lavender alongside Peppermint, Rosemary, Chamomile, Sage, Basil, Geranium, English Nettles, Dandelions, Burdock Root and Saffron just to name a few alongside more conventional vegetables rich in skincare products such as Carrot, Pumpkin and Peas.

Growing Essential Oils in the UK

Some of these ingredients are used as an Aromatherapy Ingredient. We distill oils such as Lavender, Peppermint and Rosemary and we have plans to grow more Plants for Essential oil in Greenhouses and Polytunnels increasing our range of English Grown Essential Oils to go into our skincare products.

Extracts and Vegetable Oils

Other Ingredients such as Pumpkin, will be used in a multitude of ways. We currently take an extract from the Pulp (which can  already be found in our beautiful Pumpkin Shower Gel) that has wonderful antioxidant and skin rejuvenating properties and this Autumn we will be extracting the oil from the Pumpkin Seeds. We have over 10,000 Pumpkins growing on our field and they truly will be a site this coming Autumn.

Taking potentised extracts

For some ingredients we take potentised extracts, these extracts are carefully extracted to obtain the potent part of the plant. A wonderful example is the humble Pea. Pisum sativum extract (the latin name for a Pea) has been shown in commercial trials to provide wonderful anti-ageing skincare properties, strengthening skin elasticity and providing dermal protection.

By the end of 2019, we will be extracting over 100 different extracts and all will be grown Organically at our fields on the Surrey Hills.

Would you like to visit our Fields and see us Growing?

We would love you to visit us too! We are busy growing at the moment and ensuring that everything is in place to make sure we are the UK’s biggest and best independent grower of skincare ingredients and extracts.

However plans are well under way to open our fields to visitors and we are currently building an on site Shop, Visitors Center, Training Center and Cafe. We had hoped we would be open by 2018 but we are now opening to the public in 2019.

Can I buy your ingredients and extracts to include in my own products

Yes! All of our extracts and ingredients are available to use in your own skincare products under our Plant Extracts section. All of our extracts are available to purchase from small 10ml sizes to 5kg packs.

At the moment we do not produce enough essential oil to sell directly as it is all used in our skincare products. However, as we increase production through 2019, we hope to offer some of our essential oils from our farm for sale.
