Organic Avocado Carrier Oil

Organic Avocado is pressed from the fleshy pulp surrounding the avocado pit. Organic Avocado is Cold Pressed and rich in nutrients with a rich dark green colour. Organic Avocado is completely unrefined and thus maintains its original sharp and heavy scent.

This ultra rich Avocado treasure is especially useful in cosmetic blends where the final formulation is going to be quite thick, for example a body butter or Shea & Cocoa based balm. It is also especially useful in conditioners for hair care, where the rich fatty like oil provides last nutrition for the hair.

This ultra rich oil is a delightful treasure containing high amounts of Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, and E and also contains amino acids, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, and other essential fatty acids.

Throughout history avocado oil has been renowned to have healing and regenerating properties. It is very useful when treating sun, climate or chemical damaged skin that is dehydrated and undernourished. It is reported to help regenerate and rejuvenate the skin as well as soften the skin tissue. Avocado oil is well known as a nutrient for penetrating dry skin and resolving other skin problems.

When using Cold Pressed Avocado directly on the skin, we recommend combining with Fractionated Coconut (Caprylic / capric triglyceride) (30% Avocado, 70% Fractionated Coconut), where the lighter, penetrating nature of the Fractionated Coconut will help the skin absorb the nutritious and rich properties of the Avocado.

When used in blends with other carrier oils and in cosmetic product formulation (where it is best used), this oil will add colour to your final product. The scent is also reduced when using in blends, especially where heat is applied, such as in the production of hair conditioner or skin creams.

Ingredients

• 93ml Naturallythinking Conditioner Base
  
• 5ml Organic Avocado Oil
• 1ml Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  
• 0.5ml Lemon Essential Oil
• 0.5ml Ho Leaf Essential Oil

Instructions

Simply pour the oils into our Conditioner base and mix well with a spoon. If you have poured into a bottle, vigorous shaking will make the blend mix.
