Lavender Planting 100,000 little Lavender plants into our field
Over the past month we have been busily preparing our fields for the Lavender plugs that have been growing over the winter. On the 25th April 2017 our planting commenced and between 5 of us we have managed to plant 50,000 in 5 days.
We have experienced beautiful sunshine, rain, sleet and a little snow… as well as wind and hail over the past 2 weeks. The following is a little gallery from our Lavender Planting.
Our Lavender Field will be open to the Public from late Summer 2017
Our new field will open to the Public at the end of Summer 2017, though it will not be until Summer 2018, that the glory of the plants will be seen.
In addition to Lavender, we are growing Peppermint, Chamomile, Rosemary, Basil, Sage, Rosemary, Dill and Fennel for Essential oil production as well as over 100 different wild flowers for botanical extracts to be found in our skincare products.
Our Lavender field in Surrey is located at the Telegraph Track which is just 15 minutes walk from Wallington Train Station, easily accessible from London and the surrounding areas. We have plenty of on-site parking and
Shop, Coffee Shop, Still and Lots more
We will have an on-site still to distil the essential oils as well as a shop, education centre, lab, coffee shop and restaurant (opening Summer 2018).
Our Lavender Field is family friendly and entrance is Free
Entry is Free to our Lavender field if free and we will have beautiful picnic area for families that just wish to come and enjoy the fields, view and sunshine with far reaching views over London from the gateway to the Surrey Hills.
