AHA Fruit Complex to moisturise the lipid layer

A moisturising lipid layer enhancer that uses the concentrated extracts of Fruits to weaken the bonds that hold together old skin, to reveal and younger and fresher skin appearance.

With regular daily use the AHA can help stimulate collagen synthesis and bring a youthful vitality and brightness to dull and lifeless skin.

Their natural humectant properties draw moisture from the atmosphere to hydrate the skin and being moisture to the outer layer of the epidermis.

Historical Usage of AHA in Cosmetics

Fruit Oils have historically been used to clarify and strengthen the skin, removing dead skin cells and revealing healthy new skin.

They can be found in high dose in natural chemical peels, or in low dose in facial creams to stimulate a radiant glow.

Using AHA in skincare products

AHA Fruit Complex is ideally suited to products used in Facial Care, such as face washes and face creams.

Use in serums and balms for specific treatment.

Use in Day Creams, Night Creams, Anti Ageing Creams, Skin Lotions, Gels and Shampoos.

When included at higher levels (up to 5%) AHA is similar to a chemical peel in feel and will create an intensive specific treatment.

How to use AHA Fruit Complex

The extract should be added to your formula when it is under 40c. You can add this extract directly to the Naturallythinking range of Cosmetic Base products with agitation.

The extract is suitable for use in both O/W Emulsions and W/O Emulsions

How to use AHA Fruit Complex

The AHA Fruit Complex is usually used between 0 and 1%, however it can be used up to 5%. Uses above 1% should be patch tested on the skin to check for irritation.
