A glorious blend of Shea and Cocoa butter is double whipped to form a silky smooth butter that intensely moisturises for 24 hours of skin moisturisation and protection.

The butter can be used alone on sensitive skin or blended with other essential oils and carrier oils to create customised skincare products. In addition, the body butter is suited as an aromatherapy butter base or can be used with fragrance oils and colors.

The natural formula makes the butter base suitable for all skin types. It is excellent for use in intense facial salves for problem skin or particular purposes, i.e., extreme facial skin protection in harsh climates like the desert and alpine winters.

Suitable for all skin types and the body butter base can be tailored to individual skin types by adding essential oils and carrier oils.
The base is hypoallergenic and non-irritating. The natural formula makes it highly effective without being abrasive.

The nature of body butter is to form a protective barrier on the skin, moisturising the skin and locking in the skin’s natural moisture. Great for dry skin and skin that quickly loses hydration.

The above shelf life is based upon Naturallythinking Aftershave Balm without additional ingredients. The shelf life can be affected by the addition of ingredients. For example, adding oils that quickly go rancid can reduce the life expectancy of the base. On the other hand, adding ingredients with natural preservative and anti-oxidant properties can prolong the life of the Aftershave Balm.

Apply a pea sized amount of body butter base to the skin and smooth across… For the best results apply to slightly damp skin and allow the rich butter to be naturally absorbed.

When blending with essential oils, add 30 drops of essential oil per 100ml of body butter base. You can also use carrier oils, use up to 5% to further tailored the skin conditioning properties.

Remember the butter is thicker than most creams, so blending takes a little more effort… fold the essential oils into the butter as if you were making a cake for optimum results.

Blend a few drops of essential oil into the butter and stir hard, gradually adding more essential oil until the desired blend is achieved.

Blending will require vigorous stirring to ensure proper mixing and the body butter base will not blend by simply ‘shaking’ the container.

You can add unlimited levels of carrier oils to the base; keep in mind the more you add, the more you will change the composition of the base. If you plan on using our CPSR services, then you can add a maximum of 5%

Fragrance oils (as opposed to essential oils) can also be used in our bases, although as we only use natural essential oils, we do not sell synthetic Fragrance Oils.

Normally body butter is used as a skin treat for daily protection and rejuvenation, however the butter can be used to help with skin ailments.

Blend with Chamomile and Geranium to use on problem skin areas, the blend of Chamomile and Geranium in body butter is perfect for psoriasis and eczema.
