Naturallythinking Moisture Cream is suitable for all skin types and can be further tailored to suit certain skin types with the addition of carrier oils, essential oils and other active ingredients.

Naturallythinking Moisture Cream base makes a wonderful building block for building body moisturisers and facial moisturisers, it is you customisation that can turn the cream into a bespoke and highly effective moisturising product.

Adding carrier oils can change the colour of the cream, very light colour oils such as coconut, peach kernel and apricot kernel if used in reasonable amounts will not change the colour of the cream. You can use oils such as Sea Buckthorn and Avocado to add natural colourings as well as benefit from their properties.

Naturally you can add essential oils added and these are the building blocks of creating bespoke blends. As moisture cream is a leave on product, we recommend a maximum addition of 2% essential oils. To blend carrier and essential oils, fold them into the cream, gently stirring and folding (as if you are making a cake mixture) and the oils will be gradually absorbed into the cream.

Naturallythinking Cream base has been tested against all actives/extracts and oils in the Naturallythinking range with success.

After cleansing your face apply the cream to a dry skin. Starting at your chin apply an upwards motion to your face smoothing out from the center to the extremities of the face. Apply to the forehead in an upward motion to strengthen the facial muscles, helping to tone and improve the skins texture.

A reflexology cream can be created by adding 35% Macadamia to the base cream and then combining the appropriate essential oils (Tea Tree, Lavender and Eucalyptus are perfect for anti-bacterial blends).

Add light oils such as Camellia and Coconut to use on the face, where you want a light texture and easy absorption.

Add richer oils such as Almond, Avocado, Sea Buckthorn and Argan for use on the body to create a thicker and moisturising cream.

Remember the more carrier oil you add to the cream, the longer it will take to be absorbed into the skin. We would advise adding a maximum of 10% carrier oil to your blend, unless you are making a massage cream, whereby adding 30% of an oil such as almond can turn the cream into a massage cream.

The above shelf life is based upon Naturallythinking Moisture Cream without additional ingredients. The shelf life can be affected by the addition of ingredients. For example, adding oils that quickly go rancid can reduce the product’s life expectancy, whereas adding ingredients with natural preservative and anti-oxidant properties can prolong the life of the Moisture Cream.
