Each week, we take a look back at our past week in the naturallythinking review. Events which haven’t made a post of their own, but noteworthy none the less.
Lavender
This past week has been dominated by preparing our new Lavender field for planting. We have made a couple of mistakes along the way, not preparing the land well enough for our first planting being the biggest of them all. However, we now have that under control and have spent the weekend re-ploughing and discing the land. On order is a power harrow, which will make the remaining 50 acres much easier to plant. For those who do not know what a Power Harrow is (we didn’t about a week ago! :)), it is like a supersized rake that spins really fast and breaks down big “clods” of mud into the nice soil that you get in a bag at a garden centre.
Face Masks
Our new face masks are ready for sale. They have completed their stability and preservative efficacy testing. Jonny our designer, is just finishing the labels for them, the text was completed last week and so we hope to have the masks on sale by the end of the week. We have some wonderful new Active ingredients in the face masks with anti-ageing, antioxidant and regenerative properties.
New Website & Courier Change
Last week was the first proper week with our new website. We have had a few teething issues, but these have mainly been behind the scenes and given us a few late nights. We have ironed the problems out and the net result is much faster support and help. As part of the new website we have changed courier from DPD to Parcelforce.
DPD, although generally offering a good service have caused some major issues in the collection of parcels, which we haven’t been able to rectify with DPD and therefore decided to make the move to Parcelforce in order to maintain customer service.
The naturallythinking review is a weekly round up of our products, services and events from the week.
