Grapefruit Extract

Grapefruits are harvested from grapefruit trees cultivated in Cuba. The ripe fruits are cleaned and chopped. The juice is obtained by squeezing and filtration and is concentrated by distillation at low temperatures. The concentrated pink grapefruit juice is prepared in a mixture of water, glycerin and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time.

Grapefruit combines especially well with our Menthone Glycerin acetal to create energetic and vibrant blends that cool and stimulate, whilst remaining suitable for even the most sensitive of skins.

How to Use Grapefruit Extract

The extract can be added to creams, lotions, foaming products (skin and hair) sports skin care, anti-aging products, after sun products, rinse off and oral care either as part of the production process of your own cosmetics or by adding to the Naturallythinking range of Cosmetic bases.

We recommend adding Grapefruit Extract extract to the final formulation when the temperatures are below 40c to ensure efficacy of ingredient.
