Product Description
Organically grown British Peppermint, grown on the chalk faces of the Surrey Hills
British Peppermint Essential Oil
The area around where we grow our Briitsh Peppermint Essential Oil was once prolific with Peppermint essential oil, with a variety still refered to as Mitcham Peppermint grown just a few miles down the road from us.
Post war housing and the constant expansion of London saw the last Peppermint fields disappear early in the 20th Century. When we replanted in 2017, we rekindled the Peppermint growing that once filled the local air with a minty freshness.
Our British Peppermint is grown organically and is the same Mitcham Peppermint variety that once grew in the area.
Characteristics of British Peppermint Essential Oil
British Peppermint has minty top notes, which are bright and fresh. Hints of camphor and grass fill the undertones and the association with cool is evident in the scent. British Peppermint is strongly reminiscent of the Peppermint found in chocolate.

Blends well with |
British Peppermint can be used with many essential oil. Our favourite in a lot of blends is Lavender; two oils which would seem to contradict one another but instead work in absolutely synergy. As well as this peppermint blends well with Benzoin, Cedarwood, Cypress, Mandarin, Marjoram, Niaouli, Rosemary and Pine. |
